This past weekend in Augusta, the Augusta Vintage Nationals show/swap meet took place at Diamond Lakes. This park used to be the Augusta International Speedway. Something like 8 tracks were here! Man, it’s too bad this was ultimately shut down, but it’s very neat to see some Augusta’s racing history. Most of the cars were classic muscle, but what was really nice was to see some clean & detailed modifications to classic muscle cars vs. everyone just having OE restorations. They’re pushing the limits, which is always a daring thing to do. Most of the imports weren’t my style, so sorry if you’re looking for your on-the-ground truck or something.
