I wanted to keep putting fresh content on this lil site of mine, so here’s the latest. Tuesday is going to be an exciting day. If all goes well, by next weekend the car will be sitting on H&R springs, Bilstein shocks, Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts and some killer CCW wheels. The photo above is what it looks like after 2 hours of disassembling the rear interior. You have to do this to gain access to the tops of the shock and remove the bolts. REng. shock mounts will make it so this doesn’t have to be taken apart again. While you’ve got it apart it’s a good idea to inspect your subframe for tearing and also lay down some additional Dynamat if you’re into that.

CCW LM20

  • 18×9+35 F
  • 18×10.5et19
  • Titanium silver finished (anodized)
  • BF Goodrich KDW2
    • 18/35/235 18/35/295

I know what you’re thinking. How in the world could he ditch the stock roadstars, much less begin tearing apart a perfectly good BMW? Well, it’s what I do. The rear of the interior is out and as soon as the Rogue Engineering RSM’s arrive, hopefully we’ll begin to work on the car. May wait until the weekend to have some time to throw in the Ireland Engineering subframe bushings.

I got the wheels secondhand from a guy in Idaho. I think at least. Here’s what they looked like on his roadster.
